A Unique VR Game with a Musical Twist

Audio Arena is a unique music-based VR game wherein music is used to generate gameplay. In other words, the enemies are spawned on music beats. All of this may sound a bit confusing, but once you start playing the game, you would get the clarity you need.

Gameplay and Controls

The game entails controlling an arrow that looks like a tail-equipped mouse cursor. There are multiple hued stages and the objective is to not hit the colored balls spawning around. Power-ups are small icons within a circle that collapse and expand with the music beat. To set the power-up off correctly, it must be grabbed when the circle expands to its maximum limit. You can dodge your enemies employing motion or gaze controls. There are power-ups optimally positioned, helping you kill your enemies. Picking your foes on the music beat improves your sync bonus and increases your scores. If you happen to complete the song, your score would be recorded.

Challenges Galore

The game offers a list of challenges known as ‘quests’. And these challenges could add significant amount of difficulty and fun to the game. For instance, one of the challenges is killing fifty red dots in a trot. This might sound easy but it’s not.Another challenge is to complete the whole level by not killing any dots. In total, there are 25 challenges and finishing them all would take some time, giving the game some good length and excitement. Also, the challenges add to the game’s replay value.
